World-famous Poon Hill, also known as the "balcony of the Himalayas". Poon Hill is the perfect introduction to the scale of the Himalayas: from Poon Hill at ~ 3,200m, you can meet with Dhaulagiri I (8,167m), Annapurna I (8,091m), Gangapurna, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Macchapucchre. Like us, may you feel humble, minuscule, amazed in front of these lasting an immanent giants. Sunrise at Poon Hill is a very popular destination. Sunset is less known but as impressive: the Himalayan range spans in the east-west direction, making both sunrise and sunset very enjoyable. You can also stay the entire day: the dance of clouds, sun and colors upon the mountains feels like a movie.
